The Opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional, team-based leader to lead our SMB (small and medium business) sales team. As the Sales Manager, SMB, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team who will bring in new business with clients ranging in size from 10 to 500 employees, as well as own and close new business in your own territory. You will lead through a combination of technology and process, which will ultimately drive new business growth in your assigned region. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will own the overall health and success of our SMB pipeline and go-to-market strategy for your direct reports.

You will play a crucial part in One Medical's growth and strategy by scaling and building out our rapidly-growing employer business. We are looking for someone who is first and foremost an independent and self-motivated leader who is passionate about building effective, high-performing teams. If you are a structured, conscientious decision-maker, enjoy managing and coaching people, and are adept at managing a complete sales cycle, you might fit this role.

What you'll work on:

  • Lead, build, and scale our regional SMB team, from implementing key workflow processes to developing talent to building a strong, high-performance team culture
  • Create strategies to identify 'high potential' prospects to present and close new business
  • Represent One Medical and interact with small business prospects and customers in your assigned territory
  • Train and develop team members to maximize sales potential and quota attainment
  • Identify and close target accounts - employer groups ranging in size from 10 - 500 employees
  • Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
  • Create and implement a go-to-market strategy resulting in meeting or exceeding quota in your given territory
  • Identify and educate industry influencers and consultants to create inbound lead flow
  • Create and maintain a healthy pipeline with forecasting accuracy
  • Navigate multi-touch sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and decision-makers

You'll need:

  • 5+ years B2B sales experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience hiring, training, and developing a team of individual contributors.
  • Experience selling to HR buyers
  • Skilled in outbound prospecting and identifying target accounts
  • Experience in a multi-touch sales cycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using or other CRM

This is a full-time role based in St. Petersburg, FL.


One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The base salary range for this role is $76,800 to $125,000 . However, actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate. These factors include, but are not limited to, job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees, and specific work location.

The total compensation package for certain roles may also include additional components such as a sign-on bonus, annual performance bonus, equity grants in the form of RSUs, medical and other benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans. For more information, please visit
